Inspirations Come From Strange Places
A little something that really bothers me as a designer is a bad public bathroom. This may seem silly, but I think if I’m out for a nice dinner or at a trade show and it’s a beautiful space, why stop at the bathroom door? I think all women out there would agree, an ugly bathroom can turn your perception of a beautiful restaurant into “It was gorgeous but you should have seen the washroom! It was terrible and dated!”. However if one of my girlfriends comes back from the restroom saying “Wow! You should see that bathroom! I wish my house looked like that!!”, you can be sure I’ll be having a peek! Carrying your design throughout the whole space will ensure that your customers have a total experience and will even tell friends about how wonderful the space was all the way from the front door to the restroom!
